I didn't see the actual incident, and I'm not sure why they're taking so long to fix it. Maybe they want to warn us all about the hidden dangers lurking within your neighborhood place of laundering. The other day the top of one of the dryers was ajar and for the first time I saw the giant roaring gas flames that heat those things. Rather freaked me out actually.
While one the one hand I do support the concept of a conveniently located Museum of Laundry Mishaps, on the other hand it was one of the better dryers in the place.

so did you see the flames? or is the laundro just leaving the charred lint as an object lesson?
