Andy Warhol quote of the day

Well hello again, denizens of cyberspace and people of the Beautiful World of the Future. It has been awhile…so much has happened, and yet so little.

Anyway. This week I’ve been reading Andy Warhol’s Popism, his memoir of the 60s, and I thought I’d share a quote or two with you just to remind myself what it’s like to post to this blog. Hope you enjoy.

Andy on speed:

I could never finally figure out if more things happened in the sixties because there was more awake time for them to happen in (since so many people were on amphetamine), or if people started taking amphetamine because there were so many things to do that they needed to have more awake time to do them in. It was probably both.
